Hey, y'all! My name is Emily Robinett, and I'm an Austin native getting my MFA in Television Writing and Producing from Chapman University in Orange, California! I just graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. I've been a writer since I could hold a pencil, and I've been performing since I could walk. I like using the tools I've gained as an artist to dive deep into the discoveries young adult life brings me. I've moved out of the South, I've come out of the closet, and I'm learning what the religion I grew up in means to me now. When I'm not working on my next project, you can find me advocating for gender and sexuality equity, playing the piano, sewing, cheering for the New Orleans Saints, or checking out a local brewery!
